Computer Art, Fractals, and the Brain

Here is what the dendritic structure in the cerebellum looks like. This illustration shows how neurons in the brain collect with axons to make dendrites.

But this is what I really like. Kermit over there already used the image below, but it was for math! I've always wanted to learn how to make these images on the computer using lots of colors. Here is a beautiful work of computer art using fractals:
