I discovered that leaves, branches and roots all have the same kind of dendritic structure that the brain's dendrites have. I think that is amazing. I really want to discover why this is so. I am looking forward to doing a report on it as soon as I can. Here are some photographs of leaves, branches and roots with their dendritic structures.

This root system is called a buttress root system because it supports the structure.
